PERSONALISED MENTORING FOR STUDENTS APPLYING TO UNIVERSITY IN AMERICA, THE U.K AND CANADA

Whether you are a prospective candidate for an undergraduate B.A/B.S, Masters or MBA program, we can guide you every step of the way

  • About

Victoria Clarke (Brown University '05) founded VC Consultants in 2012 as a highly personalised mentoring service for international students hoping to attend university in the USA, UK and Canada.

Over the past 15 years, Victoria has navigated hundreds of students and families across the globe through the university application process, providing unparalleled support at a critical time on an applicant's journey into higher education. Past VC students hail from France, Greece, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Holland, India, Pakistan, Russia, Brazil, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Korea, Bahrain, Nigeria, Ghana, the UK and the United States.

Unlike larger agencies who work with hundreds or even thousands of students at any one time, Victoria works personally with each applicant, only outsourcing work to a select group of career tutors to aid in standardised test prep. She operates solely on a word of mouth basis, and regularly works with two or three siblings as a trusted consultant and family advocate.

  • TESTIMONIALS

    FJB (US university)

Victoria stepped up and has been supreme from the outset and I really could not have asked for a better tutor. Her lessons have always been something I looked forward to every week and I would always come out more confident, with everything consolidated. She was always punctual and extremely flexible with time and location - something which I really appreciated. Victoria has been absolutely phenomenal on the application essay front and although it has been a real labour of love getting my three main essays to where they are now (with lots of tweaking and polishing the corners), I am so pleased for all the time we spent making them perfect. I am absolutely delighted with the end product and I am confident that they will stand me in very good stead. The fact that Victoria remained committed and interested, despite having probably read the essays hundreds of times, is testament to her tutoring expertise. Of course the essays were only one part of the application. She really did help set me up extremely well on the SAT reasoning and Literature Subject test front, explaining everything clearly and logically. I found the SATs harder to get to grips with (given the American thought path and mindset is rather different to ours) but by the end, Victoria had me firing on all cylinders. And to top it off, all the Common App process was smoothly overseen by Victoria.

In short, I really could not recommend Victoria more highly: she was always encouraging (but never overly so), warm, kind and really adapted to my needs and I was extremely sad that yesterday was my last session with her, although I sincerely hope that it won't be the last time I see her. A top girl and a top teacher!

Thanks so much for all your efforts, as i mentioned to Victoria we would not have thought about Occidental but for her: Flo accepted Early Action non binding at Chapman and just got accepted there as well! We couldn't be more thrilled with all the help and support we received.

    NAS (UK university)

Throughout this whole journey of applying to various UK universities, Victoria Clarke has helped me tremendously as a college counsellor, not only with the process of applying, but also helping me figure out my true passions and what I really want to study. She has guided me through the whole process and really helped me mentally prepare myself for what has yet to come. She has also truly become someone I look up to, and has helped me gain and acquired many new skills which I know will help me in the future. Finally, I am thrilled with my personal statement and am confident it was the best it could be.

    HD (UK and US university)

I really feel I couldn't have done it without you. I am so happy with both my SAT scores and final UCAS and COMMON APP application essays. It was a lot of hard work but I felt supported every step of the way and am hugely proud of all my applications. Fingers crossed now!!

    ED (US university)

Victoria was amazing from the beginning. She was extremely friendly from the start and always got straight to the point which was great for a procrastinator like myself! We worked through the English and reading components of the ACT which she explained very logically and concisely, making the learning much easier. She made some wonderful suggestions for universities I had not even heard of, and when I went on a college tour, Victoria even made me a timetable for my trip! When it got to applying, she helped build my confidence in my writing and motivated me through the complicated and long process that is the Common Application. I would never have gotten my essays to where they were without the hours Victoria spent with me firstly brainstorming then going through the finished piece with a fine comb. I could not have asked for a better tutor, and really could not recommend her highly enough! I’m thrilled to be heading to Dartmouth this summer after being accepted Early Decision!
